CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP

The Smithsonian Partnership Forum
The Smithsonian Associates has pioneered a way for organizations to participate actively in its educational vision: The Smithsonian Partnership Forum. Corporate and Organization Partners support initiatives that serve a profession, academic discipline, or community and further the Institution's educational objectives.

Organizations can provide outright support for programs, contribute expertise where appropriate, and participate in efforts, including gifts-in-kind to enhance the program they help to sponsor.

Your Support is Vital
Even though The Smithsonian Associates is part of the Smithsonian Institution, it receives no federal support. Membership dollars, ticket sales, and other earned income help underwrite the costs of our numerous events and educational activities, but private funds make these ambitious programs possible. The scope of what The Smithsonian Associates can achieve is truly in the hands of those who donate. That is why our Corporate and Organization Partners are so valued.

Your Corporation or Organization may choose to support a specific Resident Associates Program, a series of programs in Washington, DC or in your community, our annual Smithsonian Kite Festival, or the Smithsonian's Discovery Theater for Children.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable under the law. Partners receive specific benefits based on their level of contribution as our way of saying "thank you" for your support. Join the Smithsonian Partnership Forum whose valued donations make a difference and further the Smithsonian Institution's educational objectives.
