The Emerson String Quartet

After more than 31 years of extensive touring and recording, the Grammy-winning Emerson String Quartet continues to perform with the same benchmark intensity, integrity, energy and commitment that it has demonstrated since it was formed in 1976. This five-concert series features music by Dvorak, Webern, and more.
Johann Sebastian Bach: Chamber Works

The 2010-2011 season is Kenneth Slowik's 25th year as the Artistic Director of the Smithsonian Chamber Music Society. To mark this event, this concert series features many of Johann Sebastian Bach's greatest chamber works.
