Experience the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History at night. In a special screening of the feature length film Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian: The IMAX® Experience, at the Johnson IMAX Theater, see who wins control of the Smithsonian. Then search the museum for the highlights from the film and end your night in the darkened halls of one of the world's most famous museums—camping under Phoenix the Whale in Ocean Hall.
Price includes: Evening snack, Light breakfast, IMAX screening of Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Evening activity, and Tour
Ages: 8 to 12 years old. Chaperones must be 21 years or older. There must be at least one adult for every three children in any group that registers. No siblings younger than 8. No adults without children.
All participants must pre-register by calling The Smithsonian Associates at 202-633-3030, Monday- Friday 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m. All fees must be paid prior to the event. Absolutely no walk-in registrations are permitted.
Phone reservations are accepted only. The handling fee will not be charged.
The RELEASE FORM must be completed and signed by a parent before allowed admittance. There must be a signed form for each participant. The form can be downloaded and returned at check-in on the night of the sleepover. It can also be faxed in to 202-786-2034.

Evening Program
7:30 p.m.- 7:45 p.m. – Check-in at the Constitution Avenue entrance to NMNH
8:00 p.m. – Orientation
8:10 p.m. – Meet Albert Einstein and snack
9:00 p.m. – Watch Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian: The IMAX® Experience, at the Johnson IMAX Theater (1:44 min.)
10:50 p.m. - Evening activity
11:20 p.m. - Unwind and set-up sleeping area in Ocean Hall, brush teeth, etc.
Midnight - Lights out!
Morning Program
7:00 a.m. - Rise and shine!
7:00-8:15 a.m. - Breakfast in Atrium Café; clean up sleeping area
8:30 a.m. - Farewell
