Thurs., Nov. 19, 6:45 to 9 p.m.
Text Size Decrease Increase Share/Save

Movies and TV shows like Criminal Minds, The Profiler, andSilence of the Lambs are inspired by events and work that take place in two elite FBI units: the Behavioral Science and Behavioral Analysis units. They study, research, consult on, and investigate some of the world’s most violent and bizarre offenders from serial killers to hostage takers to bombers and everything in between.

This evening, Gregory M. Vecchi, head of the Behavioral Science Unit, explains how the staff solves major cases by studying the offenders and their motivation.

Mary Ellen O’Toole, who was one of the FBI’s senior profilers and worked on some notorious cases, takes you into the mind of a serial killer and guides you step-by-step through the process of solving an actual murder case.
