World-renowned violist Kim Kashkashian teams with composer/pianist Tigran Mansurian and multi-faceted percussionist Robyn Schulkowsky to perform compositions by Mansurian (a national treasure of Armenia) as well as a selection of his stunning arrangements of music by the revered Armenian visionary Komitas Vardapet. With works from Kashkashian’s latest ECM release, “Neharót” and from the 2003 release “Hayren”, these concerts are a rare opportunity to hear these musicians come together in riveting live performances of Armenian masterworks.
