Come to the 2010 Philadelphia International Flower Show, the largest and longest-running indoor flower show in the world, in its splendid quarters at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The show will take visitors on an exotic journey to dozens of destinations around the globe. The massive Showcase Gardens will transport visitors to an elaborate Indian wedding; a blooming Dutch street scene; the natural and tribal wonders of South Africa; the Amazon jungle of Brazil; the botanical gardens of Singapore; and the rugged beauty of New Zealand.

Horticulturalist Cindy Brown leads both tours. A gourmet box lunch is provided en route, and participants purchase their own supper before departure in the evening.

9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. by bus from the Mayflower Hotel, Connecticut Ave. and DeSales St., N.W., with a stop at the I-495 Exit 27 carpool lot at about 9:55 a.m.
